The Formula 1 world is waiting for the decision of the race committee. Both Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are facing penalties. Hamilton is under investigation for a possible infringement with his rear wing, while the Dutchman touched his rival's car. Helmut Marko finds the whole thing incomprehensible.
The Dutch driver appeared to touch Hamilton's car at the end of qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix. With Hamilton now under investigation, the Silver Arrows may use it against Red Bull and Verstappen.
Marko reacted in conversation with F1-insider.com and it is fair to say he isn't best pleased. According to the Red Bull Racing advisor, there is no question of this in any way. "The incredible thing is that Mercedes now claims that Max damaged Hamilton's rear wing with his fingers," he stated.

Stewards' investigation into Hamilton

Hamilton had to answer to the stewards on Friday night. According to the stewards the rear wing of the seven time World Champion did not comply with the regulations. This would mean that Hamilton would possibly be disqualified and would have to start from the back of the grid in the sprint race.
