Hamilton sends his first message as an official Ferrari driver

Many drivers are making team changes in 2025, with several rookies entering Formula 1. For instance, Lewis Hamilton officially began his Ferrari career on Wednesday, while Carlos Sainz has moved to Williams.

The announcement of Hamilton's departure from Mercedes came before the 2024 season even began, catching many by surprise, including those within the team.

At the time, the seven-time world champion expressed that driving for Ferrari had always been a dream of his. With Hamilton approaching 40, time was running out. On New Year's Day, he shared his first message as a Ferrari driver on Instagram, posting a childhood photo of himself wearing a red helmet with a red racing car in the caption. His profile picture was also updated to this image.
