Together with his team, Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton is also paying tribute to Niki Lauda with a special helmet for the Italian Grand Prix.
Up next on the calendar is the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, Ferrari's home weekend.
This will be Hamilton's first time driving for the Scuderia at this circuit, with the Briton looking forward to a 'unique experience.'
For this upcoming weekend, Ferrari is honoring three-time F1 world champion Niki Lauda.
The special livery reflects on the iconic 312 T from 1975, the car with which the Austrian driver claimed his first title exactly 50 years ago.
"The shade of red will match that of fifty years ago, the classic white longitudinal stripes will be present, as well as the drivers’ names written in cursive script.
"The race numbers will also hark back to the past with black numbers on a white rectangular background. The rear wing will be metallic silver, evoking the aluminium used in those days before carbon fibre became the F1 standard.
"The SF-25 engine cover will of course be white like Lauda’s car, and the wheels will feature a design inspired by the rims of the time," the team shared.
Lewis Hamilton also has a special helmet ready for this weekend, the Briton shared on social media together with Ferrari, featuring Lauda's name.
The Briton previously worked with the Austrian at Mercedes, where he was a non-executive chairman and co-owner of the team until he passed away in 2019 ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix.
