- George RussellRussell, who took the reins as lead driver at Mercedes following the departure of Hamilton, highlighted Michael Jordan, Usain Bolt, alongside the seven-time world champion. Sharing his thoughts in a video shared on X by the Mercedes team, he stated:
“Rushmore top four athletes of all time. It's a tough one. I think I'll go with Michael Jordan. I think it's got to be Usain Bolt. It's definitely there. Got to be Lewis [Hamilton] as well. And then I don't want to be controversial, saying Ronaldo or Messi, so I'll go different sport. I'll go, Tiger Woods”

Formula 1 grid. The Ferrari driver statistically is currently the most successful in the sport’s history. Aside from his seven drivers’ titles, he also boasts the record for the most race victories and most podium positions.
George Russell reveals the secret to beating Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes
Earlier, George
Russell revealed the secret to beating Lewis Hamilton during their time at Mercedes. The 27-year-old stressed how he used the help of his psychologist to beat the seven-time champion at the Brackley-based outfit.
Russell and Hamilton were teammates for three seasons at the Mercedes team, and the former Williams Racing driver finished ahead of Hamilton on two occasions [2022 and 2024].
Russell has since carried over his form into the 2025 campaign, recording six podium finishes through the first 16 races of the season so far.
