Charles Leclerc does not think it is necessary to adjust his driving style after he crashed twice during the Grand Prix weekend in Miami. The Ferrari driver hit the wall during free practice on Friday and crashed in the same corner during Q3 of qualifying.

Leclerc won't change driving style

Leclerc is known for his strong performance in qualifying, but in Q3 in Miami, the Monegasque went wrong. He parked his Ferrari in the wall, leaving him stranded in seventh place on the grid. However, his second crash of the weekend does not yet mean the driver plans to adjust his driving style.
"No, I don't think so. I obviously need to, in those weekends especially, just manage it differently in Q3," he is quoted by Motorsportweek.com. "I put myself also in a difficult situation because I wanted a very aggressive setup for qualifying, knowing that this was the setup I would need to extract the most out of the car."
As a result, Leclerc thinks he went a step too far, resulting in a late crash in Q3. "This is something I will look at after the weekend. I’m very hard with myself. But I also know what are my strong points and what it gives me on the other side, taking this much risk," said the Ferrari driver.
