Charles Leclerc was again denied the opportunity at Spa-Francorchamps. He probably wouldn't have been able to match Max Verstappen's superior pace either, but perhaps the Ferrari driver could have achieved a better result. He sums up his race sarcastically.

Leclerc sarcastic about race

Ferrari made no substantial mistakes at the Belgian Grand Prix, although the decision to bring Leclerc in towards the end was questionable at best. The margin to Fernando Alonso was small and the Monegasque was unable to match his rival's pace from the start. Instead of an extra point, the decision earned him a five-second time penalty.
After the race, the Ferrari driver sarcastically summed up his day: "P9 in Lap 1 then tear off in the brakes that causes front right brake overheating, have to stop to take off the tear off off the brakes, come back to P5, took a 5 seconds penalty for being too quick in pit lane because of a burnt sensor caused by the first issue. Beautiful day!"
