After three Grands Prix Charles Leclerc is the leader in the World Championship. According to Mika Hakkinen this is not only due to the qualities of the Ferrari car, because also because of Leclerc's talent.
At the beginning of the season, reigning world champion Max Verstappen was one of the big favourites for the world title. However, due to two retirements and a lack of speed, the Dutchman has not yet come close to the performance that Leclerc achieved during the first three races.

Hakkinen sees constant level of Leclerc

Where several analysts thought prior to the season that Carlos Sainz would be ready for the battle for the world title, for now it is his teammate who has the upper hand. According to Hakkinen, this is no surprise. He tells us on Unibet's YouTube channel.
"Sainz has fluctuated more. He's made some mistakes. For soms reason he hasn't nailed it," stated Hakkinen, who expects the Italians to set all their sights on Leclerc. "Knowing Ferrari's mentality, they will start to invest in the faster driver."
