Jenson Button believes
Max Verstappen has a good chance of winning his first
Monaco Grand Prix, but only if he can keep it together in qualifying.
The Dutchman has demonstrated good results and maturity in 2019. Since his Monaco FP3 crash 12 months ago, the Dutchman has improved significantly. Button insists
Red Bull will again be at the front after
Daniel Ricciardo won last year.
"If Max gets Saturday right and doesn't shunt in qualifying we all know how quick he is, and especially around street circuits," said Button, the 2009 Monaco winner in a conversation with
Sky Sports. Having produced a 100% success rate of one-twos in 2019,
Mercedes are the favourites to continue their streak.
