Isack Hadjar was in a particularly laid-back mood after his seat for the 2027 season was confirmed.
The Frenchman will be racing alongside Max Verstappen again next year after an impressive start at Red Bull.
Stepping up from Racing Bulls last season, Hadjar appears to have closed the gap to Verstappen that previous teammates Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson were unable to do.
However, how much longer Hadjar will be in that seat is a mystery even to himself.

Hadjar admits he doesn't know length of Red Bull deal
Asked about how long his deal is at the FIA press conference in Baku, he bluntly replied: “I actually don’t know. I don’t care.
“But if you're good, you stay, and that's it. I didn't even talk about it. I let my people do the talking for me.
“I do it on the track, and that's about it. So it was very easy.”
Hadjar’s contract update comes after he missed three straight races due to a wrist injury he suffered in training.

It was later revealed the incident occurred while doing a boxing workout, something that hasn’t been updated in his new terms and conditions.

Red Bull impose no boxing ban after Hadjar injury
Asked if he’s been told not to continue boxing, he responded: “No, next time, just be more careful, maybe strap myself, and that's it.
“It happens, but no restrictions. I'm not five years old, so I just need to think twice before.”

Despite Hadjar insisting on a lack of restrictions in his Red Bull contract, his fellow drivers admitted things aren’t so liberal in their cases.
Charles Leclerc was also asked about his terms and said some hobbies are dialled back on.

He revealed: “Well, I’m not five years old either, but I’ve got some restrictions, but not too many. Actually, if I ask nicely, most of the time they accept it.

“Skydiving is probably not recommended… I thought it's a bit strange to restrict skydiving. But I'm not that obsessed with skydiving anyway. The only time I did it, they were not so happy. So I don't do it anymore.
“But skiing, it's not that we are restricted, but we are also kind of responsible in a way, and skiing is not the safest kind of sport. You can do it right after the season, but then the closer you get to the season, the less risky kind of sports I will do.”
Albon explains how Williams monitor extreme sports
Former Red Bull and current Williams driver Alex Albon then added that things may also be a little more prohibitive at his current team.
He commented: “I think Red Bull might have a bit more of a tolerance for extreme sports, but at least for us we’re kind of monitored a little bit.

“But I have the same kind of things; bungee jumping, I think, is another one. I'm not much of a bungee jumper either. Skiing is also one on mine.”
