Helmut Marko sees Sebastian Vettel as his ideal successor as an advisor for Red Bull Racing. The four-time world champion is not initially opposed to the idea.
Helmut Marko told the German version of Sky Sports he is thinking about leaving Red Bull Racing, Racing Bulls, and Formula 1. Understandably, as the Austrian is already 81 years old. The calendar's current 24 Grand Prix are a challenge for everyone in the sport, especially if you have reached a very respectable age.

Vettel Praises Helmut Marko

Sebastian Vettel, enjoying his retirement, is. at 37 years old, a good deal younger. In recent years, the former Red Bull racer has been thinking about what to do next in his life. According to Marko, Vettel wants to work in motorsport. But, a return to F1?
“Whether that's also something for me, I have yet to see,” Vettel reacts to Sky Sports. “I'm still in contact with him (Marko) and a few years ago I asked him how long he wanted to continue. He said, 'not much longer', and now he's still here (laughs).”

Vettel then praised Marko and hoped the Austrian will postpone his retirement a bit longer. “As long as he enjoys it and feels good in his work, thanks to his experience, he can fulfill a unique role, especially when it comes to team dynamics. He knows that the best. It would be a shame if he put down his role at some point.”
