After the hectic seat exchange set in motion by the announced retirement of Kimi Raikkonen and concluded by the confirmation that Alexander Albon will make his return to Formula 1 at Williams, the silly season of 2021 still seems to be going on. New rumours are circulating about the future of Robert Kubica.
After filling in for Kimi Raikkonen at Zandvoort and Monza the experienced Polish driver has recently been linked with Sebastian Vettel's seat. This is however a rumour based on a rumour, as an exit by the four time world champion has also not been confirmed.

Still at Alfa Romeo?

Another major player in this scenario is the Polish company Orlen, which is currently one of Alfa Romeo's main sponsors. The company has recently confirmed the continuation of its cooperation with the team where Kubica works as a reserve driver. Polish Sportowe Fakty reports.
The medium also states that Kubica himself can count on Orlen's help, whether he decides to stay with Alfa Romeo, opt for Aston Martin, or perhaps make the switch to an entirely different racing class. Time will tell.
