I see all the comments about Perez consigning himself to a No. 2 role for the next 2 seasons with his new deal. Let me just leave the worlds 'Nico Rosberg' floating around…he managed to win a title against the odds & against one of the greatest of all time. Never say never! #F1

The contract renewal with Perez was expected even before Monaco tbh. Is Perez Redbull’s best choice? I’d argue that it isn’t. But he is RBs safest choice. Pierre redeemed himself brilliantly after getting demoted but if RB really wanted him they would have had him already.
