Originally this weekend the Grand Prix of China was on the calendar. Hou would eventually be the first race that was postponed, long before the COVID-19 coronavirus took hold and the future of the whole F1 season was debated
To pass the time, many Formula 1 drivers have crawled into the simulator at home to drive virtual races, and the Formula 1 organisation itself has also created a championship for this purpose. With the Codemasters F1 game a race is being held on the circuit where a Grand Prix was originally supposed to take place that weekend.

Seven out of twenty Formula 1 drivers

So this Sunday it is the turn of the Grand Prix of China. In previous Virtual GP's the enthusiasm among F1-drivers was not so great yet, but this time the organization has managed to put together a nice starting field with Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, Alexander Albon, Nicholas Latifi, George Russell, Antonio Giovinazzi and newcomer Carlos Sainz.
The event starts at 18:00 GMT and can be followed for free on the official Youtube, Twitch and Facebook channels of Formula 1. It's also available on Sky Sports F1 in the UK and a limited number of broadcasters in other countries.
