'Would you like to meet Max Verstappen?' Horner surprises little fan with meet and greet with her idol

Despite a Friday in which he wasn’t among the frontrunners on track and was clearly frustrated by the poor balance of his RB21—as highlighted by his annoyed team radio messages—Max Verstappen still kept a smile on his face for his fans, no matter what.

This time, Christian Horner made the dream of a young Red Bull fan—Rebecca—come true, as well as that of the four-time world champion, by giving her the chance to meet her hero up close right inside the garage.

"Would you like to meet Max Verstappen?" asked the team principal of the Milton Keynes-based team to the young fan—who, of course, didn’t hesitate to say yes.

Little Rebecca, presumably accompanied by her parents, had the chance to exchange a few words with her idol just before FP2, and then posed for a photo with both him and Horner. A day she will surely never forget.

Verstappen then took to the track for the second free practice session, improving on his first-run performance but still trailing behind McLaren and a surprisingly strong Ferrari.
