Red Bull Racing is making significant headway in Formula 1. The Austrian racing team succeeded in winning the world championship last season with Max Verstappen and is working hard behind the scenes on the Powertrains project, of which Christian Horner is more than proud.
After Honda decided to part ways with Red Bull last season, the team of Verstappen and Sergio Perez decided to take matters into its own hands. The racing team built the Red Bull Technology Campus in Milton Keynes in recent months and has already hired two hundred people who will start work within eight weeks. From 2026, when the new engine regulations apply, Red Bull's power source must come from here.
"It’s been a huge challenge and I have to say all the contractors and suppliers have done an amazing job because it’s not just the building, it’s what’s in the building," Horner explained to the official website of Red Bull. "It’s been an incredible achievement in a short space of time, but everything is still very much on target."

Red Bull continues to work with Honda

Honda announced last season that it would be leaving Formula 1, but behind the scenes the Japanese engine supplier is still helping Red Bull with the production of the engine. Both parties hope that this will result in another world title in 2022.
