Not only former Red Bull junior driver are currently competing for the senior team and Racing Bulls in F1, but many are trying to move up the ladder in feeder series. After taking his first victory in F2, team principal Christian Horner praised supertalent Arvid Lindblad in Saudi Arabia.

Horner praises Lindblad

On Saturday, after Richard Verschoor received a five-second penalty in the Sprint Race, it was a Campos Racing and Red Bull junior one-two at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
Arvid Lindblad won the race and became the youngest driver to ever stand on the top of the podium in the series, with Pepe Martí finishing in P2.
About the Briton's performance, Christian Horner told GPblog among others in Jeddah: "I think Arvid did a good job yesterday, his pace in the second half of the race today was strong as well. He's still very young, he's developing nicely, and there's still a lot of racing in ahead of him in F2."

How did Lindblad react to first-ever F2 victory

“I'm really happy with the result today, youngest ever F2 race winner. A huge thank you to the team - a really good race coming from sixth to first. It's a shame for Richard with the penalty, but super happy to win and looking forward to Sunday now," Lindblad said on Saturday.
In Sunday's feature race, Lindblad finished in P7, while this time, Richard Verschoor managed to cross the finish line first and end up still winning.
