The updates Red Bull Racing brought to the final day of testing in Bahrain seem to be a success. Sergio Perez was the fastest in the morning session, while Max Verstappen was fast in the afternoon session. According to Christian Horner, these are only a few updates, but the feedback so far has been positive.
Helmut Marko was already raving about his team's new updates. He even dared to say that Red Bull is now 'on a par with Ferrari'. Horner is a bit more cautious, but there are also positive sounds coming from his side.

Horner cautiously enthusiastic about Red Bull updates

According to Horner, Perez was positive about the RB18 after the morning session on Saturday. "He seems to be satisfied with the characteristics of the car and the lap time at this time of day looks reasonable," the Red Bull team boss said in conversation with F1 TV.
As for the new parts, he tempers expectations. "We are evaluating it with Checo and Max, but it's nothing big. A few small parts," the Brit explains. He does not want to draw any conclusions yet, because according to Horner, Mercedes in particular has not yet shown the back of its hand.
