Horner hasn't forgotten DAS and Racing Point: 'There will soon be questions again'

Racing Point and Mercedes were under fire after the winter tests. Racing Point would be a copy of the Mercedes from 2019 and Mercedes' DAS system would be illegal. For those who thought that the competition had forgotten, is wrong.
''It's Formula 1, so those topics will definitely come back. They are all competitive teams and when we start driving again there will be questions. DAS, the car of Racing Point and many other things can be on the schedule again'', says Christian Horner in conversation with Motorsport-total.com.

F1 is going to change

During the coronabreak a lot of other things were discussed by the Formula 1 teams. For example, the aerodynamic regulations have been postponed until 2022, from 2021 a lower budget cap has been set and a system will be introduced to slow down the development of the top teams.
''It was the right decision to postpone the new cars for a year, because the costs were enormous. The new budget cap is fine. Some groups were very optimistic, but I think we came to a responsible decision. That we also freeze the development for 2021 is only good'', concludes the Brit.
