Update | Red Bull team boss Christian Horner has left Austria

Sky News reported earlier in the day that Christian Horner is on his way to Bahrain for the first Grand Prix of the season. GPblog can now report that the Briton has landed at Graz airport, near the Red Bull headquarters, and has since taken off again after more than an hour. It is unclear whether that happens to pick up Helmut Marko, for example, or if the team boss visited a Red Bull delegation.

In any case, on the first media day of the new Formula 1 season, the uncertainty surrounding Horner is not over. On Wednesday, it might become clear whether the team boss can stay at Red Bull Racing or leave the team. What is certain: Horner is in Austria on Wednesday morning European time.
