Lance Stroll's last few weeks had not been the best with the Canadian driver skipping the Spanish Grand Prix and all the specualtions and criticism the driver was under in that time frame. Following his FP2 crash during his home race weekend, the last nail on Stroll's race has been driven home.
In the last quarter of the race Lance Stroll and Pierre Gasly were fighting for position. As they reached the last chicane, the Canadian pushed the Frenchman onto the grass in an attempt to defend his position.

Gasly naturally complained on the radio, and the Stewards noted the incident. A few laps later their verdict was revealed: 10 second time penalty for the Aston Martin driver for forcing another driver off the track.
