It has been over 35 years since the winner of the first two races hasn’t gone on to win the World Championship.
Following statistics, Lewis Hamilton is right to be concerned.
“My thoughts are already on the World Championship,” said the current World Champion.
“I’ve lost two races now. I am 17 points down already after just two races.”
Lewis received a grid penalty going for a gearbox change and the brit was quick to mention this in his Sky F1 interview.

“Obviously the (grid) penalty this weekend was difficult for us all to swallow, but I think the team did a really good job.
“Hopefully when we go to the next race we’ll have a better understanding of the tyres and hopefully put up a better fight with the Ferraris.”
Sebastian Vettel so far has a 100% record in 2018 and will look to continue his dominance in China.
