Oscar Piastri stole the show at the Qatar Grand Prix, claiming a stunning pole position and sending the internet into a frenzy. The
McLaren driver, who appeared to be experiencing a resurgence, built on his stellar Sprint pole and victory to claim the highest starting spot for the main race.
Aside from the championship trio leaving it all out on the track, Qatar qualifying had several moments that had fans reacting.

The
Scuderia Ferrari driver continued his torrid weekend with an 18th-place finish during his run in Q1. Yuki Tsunoda, who appeared to be experiencing his best weekend with the Red Bull team after outqualifying Verstappen and finishing fifth in the Sprint, also joined the seven-time world champion.
Several other incidents also caught the attention of many during qualifying,
including the Williams team forgetting a plastic sticker on the wheels of Carlos Sainz’s car. The Spaniard drove onto the circuit with the plastic, forcing the FIA to deploy a red flag so marshals could retrieve the debris he had caused on track.
However, amid all the drama and incidents that marked Qatar qualifying, it was Piastri who kept his composure to put in the ultimate lap. The Australian’s pole position was his first since the Dutch Grand Prix.
