Hamilton after crazy end: "I was strangely relaxed in the last lap"

Lewis Hamilton has once again won the British Grand Prix. The Mercedes driver had few problems until things suddenly turned into a disaster on the last lap.

"Until that last lap, everything went very smoothly. The tyres felt great. Valtteri was pushing a lot and I tried to keep my tyres in one piece, but I don't think Valtteri was pushing at all. I didn't know if the tyre had hit my brakes. I had to drive that lap and make sure I wouldn't lose my wing or be too slow. Luckily we just made it. Maybe we should have stopped sooner!" Hamilton said.
