Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have renewed their rivalry this season. But this time it is Hamilton who raises the stakes taking a swipe at his ex Mercedes team-mate.
The British driver claimed he was much happier with new team-mate Valtteri Bottas because the Finn doesn’t blame the car.
“The great thing with Valtteri compared to the rest is he doesn’t blame the car,” Hamilton said to UBS Formula 1.
“If I win, he says I’ve done a better job. If I’ve won then I look at myself and say he has done a better job.
“Every other driver doesn’t do that. A lot of other drivers couldn’t deal with the fact that I’m quicker.”
Hamilton never got on well with Rosberg during their 3 title fights. 2 of which were won by Lewis.
In one final dig at Nico Rosberg, Hamilton goes on to say Hamilton and Bottas are comfortable by referring to what he said earlier in the interview.
“That’s really why we get on the way we do, and that’s why we get on so well.”
