Lewis Hamilton insists he didn't come out for an interview after the race due to exhaustion and nothing to do with the first-lap collision with Kimi Raikkonen.
Hamilton, who started on pole, span out in the first-lap after colliding with Raikkonen.
Sebastian Vettel capitalised on the pair's collision and extended his lead at the top of the drivers' championship to eight points.
Despite Hamilton's spin, an amazing recovery drive, allowed him to finish second behind Vettel and limit the damage to the standings.
Hamilton did not show up to conduct the traditional post-race interview after the podium celebrations.
The Mercedes driver made his way straight do to the cool down room.
Hamilton cleared the drama up on his Instagram account after:
"I lost nearly three kilograms to get back to the top today for you and my team," Hamilton said on his Instagram story.
"I barely had any energy at the end to stand, let alone talk!
"If you can't understand and appreciate that then I fully understand.
"However, it was nothing to do with anger, literally just exhausted both physically and emotionally.
"Thanks to everyone for the incredible support this weekend, we win and lose together!
"Onwards and upwards."
