The Formula 1 World Champion started his winter break in style! Lewis Hamilton had a motorbike test day in Jerez and declared his love for the formula. He suggested he has always loved bikes more than cars.
Hamilton used a YZF-R1 and raced alongside World Superbike riders, Alex Lowes and Michael van der Mark. The Brit concluded the post on Instagram saying he wants to visit MotoGP superstar Valentino Rossi's ranch in Italy.
"Good Morning! Woke up feeling great today! Miss riding the superbike already. FYI I've always loved two wheel's more than four. Always wanted a motorbike since I was a kid, however, I am super grateful my dad got me a kart," Hamilton said.
"But current new love is out on track on my bike. I have the highest regard and respect for these motorbike riders. “And yes, I’d love to race bikes. But these guys are on another level so I think I’ll just enjoy riding and testing the limits on the track. Valentino Rossi, I need to come to the ranch asap."
According to Crash, Hamilton had one minor crash and suffered no injuries.
