Racking up four Q1 exits in a row in the last four Grands Prix, as the seven-time world champion failed to make it past P16 on Saturday evening in Abu Dhabi.
"It definitely doesn't help when you miss your second run," Hamilton told GPblog after getting out of the car, fresh from his season ending Q1 elimination. "But the car was feeling great. Just had some bottoming and then lost the back end."

Hamilton had suffered a crash in his SF-25, but he ruled out it had anything to do with his qualifying setback. "No, they just fixed the car," he continued. "They saw some bouncing going in and they said that that carried all the way through."
He, again, played down missing FP1 in favour of teammate Charles Leclerc's brother, Arthur Leclerc, arguing that whilst less running is not ideal, "everyone's in the same boat."

Hamilton as a lot of anger after Abu Dhabi GP Q1 elimination

When pressed for his post-session feelings, Hamilton kept it sharp and blunt. "I don't have the words to express how I feel, just a lot of anger."
Regarding any plans to overturn the profound dip in form he's been experiencing throughout the F1 2025 season, Hamilton admitted he didn't have any "at the moment," suggesting he doubted the winter break could serve as a mental reset: "Time will tell. It's the shortest break."

Looking ahead to the race from which he will start in P16, he resented his painful qualifying trend throughout the 2025 campaign: "There's not a lot I can do from there.
"It's the same thing every weekend for me, so I'll give it a shot," Hamilton concluded.
