Hamilton and Vettel shouldn't judge Formula E

Former Caterham F1 driver Andre Lotterer says Formula 1 drivers should not judge Formula E until they have tried it.
The German currently races for the DS Techeetah team in Formula E, alongside fellow F1 outcast Jean-Eric Vergne, but believes that any criticism aimed towards the series is unfair until a driver has stepped into one of the electric cars themselves.
Lotterer, who currently sits second in the Formula E championship just a point off of first, insisted that the all-electric series has many benefits Formula 1 does not.
“We have incredible acceleration from the electric motor,” he told Kolner Express newspaper.
“We do not need the huge downforce that they have in Formula 1 so we can fight better, and Formula E is much cheaper.

“We also drive on exciting tracks in metropolises like Paris, Rome and Berlin. Every race here is Monaco.
Hamilton and Vettel should give it a try before they judge."
