Haas could be among the points this Sunday, with both cars ending in the top ten in the second session, and
Romain Grosjean impressively logging the sixth time, but team boss
Guenther Steiner isn't taking anything for granted.
"It wasn't a bad day for us, but not a perfect one either," Steiner said.
"We had some issues with Kevin's car in the first session, which continued to bother us during the second session."
"But at the end, we did well, we have a good idea what we're capable of."
"We have our work cut out for us tomorrow, even though the rain could change everything."
Grosjean was a little more positive in his comments after the two sessions.
"It was a good day, I'm happy with the car and the team did an amazing job to prepare us for this season," the Frenchman said.
"We had a good pre-season, and it's nice to confirm that the car can hold its own on a different track with different conditions too."
"It's still early and we have to keep at it, there certainly are some areas where we can improve."
"Overall though, we're happy with the way things are going."
