Gasly summoned to stewards!

Pierre Gasly has been summoned to the stewards after FP2 after he failed to stop at the weighbridge when coming into the pits at the session’s end.

In a similar incident in 2016, Kevin Magnussen was forced to start from the pitlane, so the repercussions for Gasly could be big.

Gasly was the ninth fastest driver in FP2, four tenths away from teammate Max Verstappen as he looks to close the gap to the Dutchman, which has been wider than he would have liked so far this season.

Gasly completed 24 laps in the session after failing to set a time in FP1 due to the manhole cover incident with George Russell early in the session.
