Formula 1 announces brand new musical venture with Grammy award-winner releasing first track
I am a passionate and knowledgeable Formula 1 fan who has watched the sport since age five, watching every single race. Having karted competitively throughout my teens, I understand what it takes to be a racing driver, and every aspect of motorsports fascinates me. I am now studying sports journalism at the University of Gloucestershire with the hopes of one day landing a dream role in motorsport. As well as English, I speak Spanish fluently after living there for some time when I was younger.
The first single on the Formula 1 album has been announced featuring Grammy award-winning artist Doja Cat and platinum rapper Don Toliver. The album will be released alongside the upcoming F1 film that will be headed by Hollywood star Brad Pitt.
Formula 1 also announced today that the Mexican Grand Prix will be extended for another three years, but the on-track signature was not the only reveal that the racing series had in store.
The film will be available to watch globally on June 27. The newly announced album will accompany the release of the film, and you will be able to stream all the songs on the same day.
'Revved-up single' kicks off movie soundtrack campaign
The press release, which came out today, reads: "Don Toliver releases “Lose My Mind” featuring GRAMMY® Award-winning, multi-platinum star Doja Cat - the revved-up single officially kicks off the soundtrack campaign for F1 THE ALBUM, the supercharged musical companion to Apple Original Films’ high-octane, action-packed film F1, starring Brad Pitt and directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick)."
