Vietnam and the Netherlands have been added to the grid for the 2020 season as the F1 calendar extends to 22 races, although Liberty Media are looking to move it up further to 25 races. Flavio Briatore has highlighted where he thinks they will go next.
Miami or South Africa or possible destinations for a new race, but the former Renault boss believes that there are plenty of opportunities for the sport in Saudi Arabia.
"I see Saudi Arabia appear on the calendar," he said on the Italian radio station GR Parlamento .
“It is a country that has developed incredibly over the past two years and with enormous investment opportunities. I would now spend my money on that."
Formula E is already active in Saudi Arabia, however, the problem for F1 could be human rights violations, with the country having a bad reputation for this.
