Ferrari bosses told to sit down with Hamilton and Leclerc amid Monza incident

After the start of the Italian Grand Prix, Hamilton dove down the inside of his teammate. The Briton then found himself on the outside through Turn 2 and went into the gravel, with Leclerc leaving him no room.

Speaking on F1 TV, Montoya said that not only team principal Frederic Vasseur, but also Ferrari's senior management, need to sit down with the two drivers.

He began: "They need to go to not only Fred but above Fred and sit them down.

"But it's your teammate, and you've got to respect your teammate, and you've got to respect the team," the Colombian argued.

Speaking to GPblog, among others, Hamilton said in Monza on Sunday: "Look, you know, I don't race dirty. I've always raced clean and fairly and always left space. And so I don't think they should be worried about me. I mean, I've come into the team and tried to be respectful of space and definitely not put the team in jeopardy.

Ferrari has the chance to bounce back immediately at the Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid this weekend.
