Ferrari confirm Hamilton will be at the Italian team for 'multiple years'

Ferrari have announced that Lewis Hamilton will join the Italian team in 2025. The 39-year-old will get one more year at Mercedes before making the move in 12 months time. That will not be his final year in Formula 1 as the Brit has signed a multi-year contract.

The Ferrari team react with a short and sharp statement. "Scuderia Ferrari is pleased to announce that Lewis Hamilton will be joining the team in 2025, on a multi-year contract," the team said.

Perhaps Ferrari will come up with a more extensive response. Mercedes made the confirmation that Hamilton will be leaving. In it, Hamilton stated how he is looking forward to the challenge when the time comes.
