Mercedes announced on Twitter that the farewell test of Romain Grosjean will have to be rescheduled. Due to the coronavirus, there are still restrictions that get in the way of the test.
A demonstration was planned during the French Grand Prix, after which Grosjean would do a private test for Mercedes. The reason Mercedes is organising this for the Frenchman is to give him a dignified farewell from Formula 1. Due to the injuries he suffered during the Bahrain Grand Prix, he couldn't participate in the remaining races of the season.

French GP coincides with IndyCar

Grosjean will make his IndyCar debut this season. Unfortunately, the upcoming race at Road America coincides with the French GP at Paul Ricard due to shifts in the F1 calendar, so it was cancelled. Unfortunately it has to be rescheduled again.
A stament from Mercedes can be read on the Dutch Motorsport.com website: "Unfortunately we have to confirm that the Mercedes test of Romain Grosjean has been cancelled due to travel restrictions and quarantine obligations. We are doing everything possible to give Romain another chance to test in the Mercedes F1 car later this summer. We are now looking for a suitable time."
