Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez face a thrilling final race in Abu Dhabi. Indeed, both drivers are on equal points in the world championship, which means they will have to decide who takes the place behind Max Verstappen at the final Grand Prix of the season.
The Mexican started the Brazilian GP in a better position than Leclerc, but the Ferrari driver managed to fight his way back as the race progressed. As Verstappen decided not to pass his teammate at the end, Perez was unable to stay ahead of his rival in the standings. Both drivers head to Abu Dhabi with 290 points.
George Russell managed to extend his lead over Lewis Hamilton thanks to his victory. The talented British driver is now 25 points ahead of Hamilton, which seems to put him in definitive control of fourth place. Carlos Sainz is in sixth place with six points less than the seven-time world champion.
