Sergio Perez took it to social media to address the recent rumours about him potentially announcing his retirement already in the current season. The Mexican chose a simple way to react.
Perez has now seemingly put an end to the rumours around an early retirement. The Mexican driver has a contract with Red Bull Racing for the upcoming year, and the Austrians have an option to extend him for 2026 as well.
During the Singapore GP, in an interview with DAZN ES, the Mexican has already underlined that he thought about retirement, but he did not want to take the easy way out. After another set of rumours have appeared about his future, he shared a post on X. 'Checo' used a scene from 'The Wolf of Wall Street' to underline his message, where Leonardo Di Caprio's character says "I'm not f***ing leaving!", with the caption "Sorry."
