Oscar Piastri took his fifth win of the 2025 Formula 1 season at the Spanish Grand Prix, winning from pole position ahead of Lando Norris and Max Verstappen.
The strategy battle around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya was a hugely interesting one, vwith the McLare pair opting for the two-stop stratrgy, will Red Bull and Max Verstappen went with a three-stop strategy.
A late safety car as a result of Kimi Antonelli's retirement meant the Grand Prix was shaken up with seven laps to go, but Piastri held on in front of his teammate to increase his championship lead.
Behind the two McLarens, even with a set of hard tyres to end the race, Charles Leclerc rounded out the podium.
Behind those three, George Russell finished fourth ahead of Max Verstappen in P5, with the two almost colliding twice after a hectic final few laps between the two of them. A ten-second time penalty then pushed him down to P10.
