George Russell led the way in Free Practice 2 at the Italian Grand Prix as Mercedes fought back against Ferrari.
The Brit's time of 1:22.559 was 0.120 ahead of Ferrari's Charles Leclerc in second with Kimi Antonelli in third, Lando Norris fourth and Lewis Hamilton fifth.
Ferrari had earlier recorded a 1-2 in FP1 with Leclerc exploiting the team's new engine upgrade.
Further down the grid there were issues for Max Verstappen who complained about his Red Bull, having seen Ayumu Iwasa drive it for FP1.
The four-time champion said it was like 'driving on ice' through the slow corners, and after a front wing change, he then complained about 'jumping'.

The session also continued a theme from FP1 of multiple incidents of blocking.
The biggest issue came heading into the first chicance where Lance Stroll made a late direction change and Norris had to take evasive action.
The Aston Martin driver has since been summond to the stewards over the matter.
