F1 full results FP2 in Las Vegas | Hamilton P1, Verstappen P17

Lewis Hamilton finished the second free practice session as the fastest driver. Max Verstappen finished 17th fastest in Las Vegas.

All was not well for Verstappen in the first free practice of the weekend. The Dutchman came no further than fifth on the timesheet. The second free practice did not start well either. Verstappen shot straight on a couple of times and struggled to get temperature in the RB20's tyres.

The Mercedes and Ferrari were good right away in Las Vegas, though. George Russell in particular was very fast during the first part of the second practice session. Verstappen was not happy.

Albon caused another red flag during FP2. The Thai-British driver had been in the pit box for a long time because his car needed fixing. The Williams came out again and could be put aside immediately. Painful for the team.
