Max Verstappen won the Belgian Grand Prix Sprint race. The Dutch driver closed the gap to Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris in the Drivers’ Championship.
The McLaren duo appeared to be pulling away from the Red Bull Racing driver in the standings ahead of the race, but Verstappen's victory saw him claw back some points in the championship as the second half of the season continues.
The Sprint race win for the 27-year-old saw him cut the lead to championship leader Piastri to 68 points.
