Lewis Hamilton couldn't clinch the title last weekend in Austin. It rolls on to this weekend in Mexico where the permutations are significantly easier to understand. The Brit won the title at this track last season.
Hamilton wins the 2018 World Championship if;
  • Vettel wins, and Hamilton finishes seventh or higher
  • Vettel finishes second or lower

So basically, Hamilton can take it pretty easy. He virtually just has to avoid any retirement, and he should be good to pick up his fifth World Championship.
According to the man himself, it's not running through his mind!

"I honestly haven't given a care about the championship, I haven't had a single thought about the championship this weekend, there was a lot of questions about it, and I was just here to win," Hamilton told Crash in the USA.
