Formula 2 driver Nyck de Vries is no longer associated with the McLaren F1 team, according to Motorsport.com
Earlier last week, reports in the Dutch media revealed that de Vries had dropped off the McLaren team of simulation drivers, after joining the Woking squad back in 2010.
This was confirmed later on when the Dutchman was speaking during last weekend's Spa FIA World Endurance Championship round, competing for the Racing Team Nederland, and he said: "I am no longer doing simulator work for McLaren."
A team spokesman then confirmed that de Vries hasn't been part of the McLaren squad "since the end of last year", even though he is still listed on the team's website.
De Vries is currently in fourth-place in the F2 championship - driving for ART Grand Prix - with a season best finish of second-place in the opening four races of the 2019 campaign.
