When Daniel Ricciardo will be able to make his return to Formula 1 is still unknown. After his accident during the second free practice for the Dutch Grand Prix, the AlphaTauri driver is still in the middle of his rehabilitation. In any case, the Australian will miss the upcoming race in Singapore. Meanwhile, Ricciardo let his followers know via Instagram that he is getting better.
Max Verstappen's former teammate at Red Bull Racing shows on the social media network a picture of his hand, which broke during the crash against the wall. The picture shows a large cut on the side, on which 13 stitches can be counted. These are remnants of the surgery Ricciardo underwent the day after his accident in Barcelona.

Ricciardo keeps hand bent

The picture also shows that Ricciardo has his hand slightly bent. Possibly this is a (temporary) consequence of the medical procedure. In an ultra-short text to accompany the post, Ricciardo writes: "Relatively unchanged. "

At Grands Prix of Holland and Italy, Ricciardo was replaced by Liam Lawson. The New Zealander will continue in his role until his experienced teammate is fully recovered.
