Max Verstappen proved once again what level of performance he is capable of at the Belgian Grand Prix. While he took victory on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, his teammate Sergio Perez crossed the finish line second with a difference of almost eighteen seconds. Kevin de Bruyne was astonished.
The Belgian footballer, who has been playing for top club Manchester City in England for many years, was our guest last weekend to see Verstappen at work close up. Both men know each other from the sports world and maintain a good contact.

De Bruyne learns from Verstappen

The German BILD decided to pay the Belgian a visit and ask him about his relationship with the Dutchman. According to De Bruyne, he can learn a lot from Verstappen, despite it being a different sport. "Just the way he is. He is a champion and the best in his sport. You can always pick up little things from other people," he said.
He was not the only footballer on the circuit. Christoph Kramer and Mats Hummels, who became world champions with Germany in 2014, also enjoyed the race. This coming weekend the Dutch GP is on the programme, in which Verstappen will again fight for victory.
