Ferrari star Charles Leclerc says that the proposed rule changes for the sport are the right steps needed for Formula 1, despite criticism of the reverse grid idea from plenty of the grid's biggest names.
Reverse grid qualifying races aren't the only rule change that is set to come in, with a complete change of the rulebook set for 2021, including a budget cap among other alterations.
Leclerc told Autosport.com: “It’s very important that we are all united for the same goals.
“Our ideas are clear, what we want, and it’s important that we are involved because we just feel things that sometimes on the data doesn’t look the same way. It’s a good step.”
