Charles Leclerc mostly agrees with Lando Norris' recent verdict of the new generation of Formula 1 cars.

The defending world champion explained after qualifying at the Australian Grand Prix that they went from having the most fun to the least fun cars within a season.

"I've known more fun. I've said it in the past, I don't want to repeat myself too much. Surely, it's not the most fun cars to drive. With some work, hopefully we can close that gap a little bit."

The Monegasque driver finished fourth, but was around eight tenths slower than pole sitter George Russell in Q3.
The Ferrari driver was also asked about looking a bit happier compared to last year.
He added: "I think [it is because] it is the first race. I'm recharged from holidays. So that's probably why.
"But I hope that very soon we are back a little bit closer to the guys in front. I mean, it's a huge gap. So it will take a relatively long time."
