Sainz congratulates his dad on Dakar victory

Carlos Sainz Sr. won the Dakar Rally for the fourth time on Friday. This is his first Dakar victory with Audi. His son Carlos Sainz Jr. was present at the moment and is very happy for his father.

On the final day, all Sainz had to do was finish the stage. Indeed, the lead over Sainz Sr.'s main rival, Sebastian Loeb, was increased by a breakdown for Loeb earlier in the rally. This victory is special for Audi as it will soon quit this racing class to focus entirely on Formula 1 participation in 2026, and it was the final year of their project.
