During the winter break, several Formula One teams announced new partnerships with major companies. The growing popularity of the sport is attracting the attention of sponsors. McLaren CEO Zak Brown is happy to see this.
Not only have viewing figures increased due to the intense fight between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton in 2021, but so has the attention of companies. Ahead of the new season, several teams have announced new collaborations.
This includes Red Bull Racing, which will partner with title sponsor Oracle in 2022. The deal is said to be worth over $500 million. Shortly after, the team also announced a partnership with Bybit, which will bring them even more money. Brown is pleased with the progress of the sport.

Sponsorship deals Red Bull

In conversation with Motorsport.com the CEO says that Formula 1 is in a healthy state. With the introduction of the new regulations, he expects the sport to have a successful decade. Brown thinks it's great to see Red Bull bringing such big companies to the sport, but the CEO doesn't dare state whether the actual number for the team is accurate. However, he does state that such big deals also have a positive impact on the other teams, and hopes to secure such a mega deal for McLaren as well.
