British super talents to test in Barcelona!

Formula 2 championship leader Lando Norris and Mercedes youngster George Russell will be among the drivers who will participate in the first in-season testing session, as the two youngsters will be driving a McLaren and Force India respectively on the Circuit de Catalunya.

The testing days will take place in the days after the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. The teams will stay in Spain, and start testing on May 15 and 16.

Norris will be manning the McLaren on both days in what will be his third time driving an F1-car, after the youngster tested for the British team in both Hungary and Abu Dhabi last season. He was promoted to reserve driver this season, and rumblings of him taking over Stoffel Vandoorne's seat at McLaren are starting to gain traction.

As for George Russell, the Mercedes reserve driver for 2018, Force India confirmed that he'll be taking place in the VJM11 on Tuesday to do some tyre-testing. Russell took to Twitter as well to announce that he'll be gaining more experience in an F1-car.
